Tour of Bradwell | Results 2014

Thank you all for taking part. The weather was good- actually too hot for some but at least not wet as predicted early in the week. It has made for some great photos (look at the Sport Sunday Link) and some firsts- a notable one is having to call out Mountain Rescue at the end of the event... but that is another story.

On the Long Tour the alternative route avoiding Bamford Clough was well received- we will use the normal route next year if the byway is repaired but I don't think Hurstclough Lane added too much extra to the loop.

I have uploaded links to previous results to the website going back to 2009

Tour of Bradwell | Results 2015

Thank you for taking part in the 2015 Tour of Bradwell. Another hot year and we had 1 runner with heat stroke early on in the event. She is recovering well after a short stay in hosptial, but it is a lession to us all and shoes how quickly it can happen. There are several articles about it on the web but here is a simple discussion about the condition

Tour of Bradwell | Results 2016

Thank you for taking part in the 2016 Tour of Bradwell. Yet another hot year. Most runners manage the condition well and we had an extra drink station coming off Kinder which helped.

The new timing system had its teathing issues but it was well recieved, We are sorry about the remote boxes which went down- the batteries failed due to the low signal conditions which meant they used battery life too quickly. We should be able to publish live results to the website next year so your friends and family can view where you are on the course
